About the products:
The Ekiden Pack is inspired by the Runners who take on mountainous terrain at the beginning of the year for the Japan's most popular type of race, the Ekiden. The bright orange and yellow colors represent the first morning sunrise of the new year. The graphical icons are inspired by the famous landmarks in Japan that are stretched across the race. The graphic pattern detailed on the swoosh and various elements throughout the collection use dazzle camouflage, a choice inspired by the busy scramble pedestrian crossings in Tokyo.

The idea:
We decided to put the new shoes their paces at an early morning track session to catch the sunrise. The bright orange to contrast against the red track and stand out after the sunrise.
